We had great weather for Labor Day, so I decided to take myself to the Farm Kitchen for their famous “First Saturday” breakfast. If you’re in the Seattle area, it’s a nice day trip from the Bainbridge Island ferry up to Poulsbo. Great food and a really charming staff – definitely worth the wait in line! As you can see, everything is in bloom at the Farm.
It’s an easy and beautiful ride up Kitsap County to the historic town of Port Townsend, where I spent the rest of the day. It’s a funny thing, but I think one of my favorite things to do now is be on a ferry. As you can see, I had a gorgeous ride back into town.
