I’ve been having the greatest time watching “Call the Midwife” on PBS.  If you’re a fan of Masterpiece Theatre, this will be right up your alley.  It is the fictionalized story of a group of young midwives in London during the 1950s.  I thought it might be too sappy, but week after week I’ve been totally drawn in by the multiple story lines and fantastic performances.

There’s just a few weeks left, and I can’t encourage you enough to tune in.  (No excuses if you’re a guy – there are plenty of wonderful men on this show.)  Like me, you may find yourself suddenly choking up in a spot or two.
