The Summer Solstice is behind us, so that means Summer is officially on. There’s so much great food to eat that I’ve decided to break it up into a post a month until we hit Labor Day. First up? The main course, of course!

Have you been trying some of the recipes in the Great Grilling post? Hot days call for lighter meals. How about serving grilled stuffed portobello mushrooms or halibut with fresh mango salsa instead of heavy racks of ribs?

If you’re someone who looks more than you buy at your local Farmer’s Market, check out the fantastic salad recipes by Williams-Sonoma. You’ll finally know how to make an entrée with all that beautiful produce. I’m partial to the appetizing as well as beautiful salade composee.

There are plenty of fun ideas in the Summer Party Hacks link. One of my favorites? Pre-made cocktails in mason jars.

Stop by next month for Summer baking ideas. Until then, enjoy!
