“Eat. Sleep. Party. Repeat.” Does that sound like a plan for Summer?

Meet the good people at The Birthday Party Project. You’ll find them singing “Happy Birthday”, painting faces, and bringing cupcakes to children in need at transitional living agencies from San Francisco to Washington, DC. Since their inception four years ago, they’ve hosted almost 20,000 kids. (And check out their super cool warehouse makeover by the awesome staff at The Container Store.)

Here are their core values:

  • Be BOLD!
  • Be transparent.
  • Be professional.
  • Be great stewards.
  • Inspire good works.
  • Have FUN.
  • Love each other, build each other up!

Do you have some Summer babies in your house? Here’s a novel idea: how about introducing philanthropy early? The Birthday Party Project has many ways to donate, including:

  1. Giving party supplies;
  2. Shopping through AmazonSmile (Amazon donates part of your purchase); and
  3. Cash donations, including honoring a loved one.

Little kids. Smiling faces. Happy tears from grateful family members. You know you want to get involved! (And don’t forget to double the goodness if your company matches donations.)

We salute your heart-centered work, TBPP! Party on!
